Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for IV&V to support complex military communications systems on the E-4 platform. You'll work with distributed, multidisciplinary teams applying systems engineering across the full development lifecycle, from needs analysis to qualification, modeling, and documentation.

The role is onsite in Richardson, TX, requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience writing requirements specifications or executing verification/qualification tests.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Current/Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration, verification, and validation for large complex systems.
• Mentor team members on functional, interface, and performance specifications.
• Identify architecturally significant requirements and technical risk areas.
• Apply SysML to system modeling across the lifecycle using MBSE.
• Lead technical proposal preparation and participate in reviews.
• Estimate, track, manage, and report technical, cost, schedule, and risk performance; travel domestically up to 20%.
