Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Project Chief Engineer to lead CCSS initiatives, driving design, integration, and test of NC2 communications systems. You will coordinate across programs, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with DoD requirements.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and strong leadership of diverse engineering teams. Onsite in Largo, FL with possible hybrid/remote options and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required for DoD clearance eligibility
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and programs

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical design authority for CCSS projects.
• Plan, oversee, and coordinate project activities within program guidelines.
• Monitor and control project cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
• Develop integrated program plans aligning with business objectives and lifecycle phases.
• Chair the Product Line Configuration Control Board (CCB) for configuration management.
