Egis Group is hiring an experienced ITS/TSMO engineer to lead planning, design, and operations for transportation projects in the United States. The role focuses on traffic management, signal operations, and connected vehicle initiatives in line with state and local regulations.

You will develop plans, manage client relationships, and guide teams across projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery while coordinating with public and private sector partners.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years ITS/TSMO planning, design, implementation or operations.
• TxDOT experience preferred.
• Experience with connected and automated vehicles and smart cities preferred.
• Strong ITS/TSMO and traffic engineering design skills.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficient with MicroStation/Bentley/ORD; 3D modeling software preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced engineering and technical guidance for ITS/TSMO per policies.
• Develop transportation management plans for highway construction/maintenance.
• Oversee traffic signal operations, ITS/TSMO projects and operations.
• Develop ITS/TSMO program and business plans for clients.
• Serve as responsible charge engineer for plans, reports, specs, docs.
• Act as local ITS/TSMO client manager in selected states.
• Perform QA/QC of ITS/TSMO plans prepared by others.
• Oversee budgets and schedules for ITS/TSMO tasks.
• Prepare content for letters, proposals, interviews, and presentations.
• Attend client and industry meetings and conferences.
