Job summary

SkyWater Technology in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Senior IT Technician to maintain and troubleshoot Windows workstations, servers, and networks while upholding security and governance standards. The role is onsite and requires US citizenship.

You will act as the Tier-1/2 escalation point, mentor junior staff, and handle imaging with SCCM, patching, asset management, and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of experience and education.
5+ years in a technical support role.
Deep knowledge of Windows operating systems and Windows Server.
Experience with SCCM, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Intune, ITSM ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Expertise in troubleshooting desktop, laptop and server hardware components.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation (Ansible/Python a plus).
Strong networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Complex troubleshooting of hardware and software issues with workstations, printers, and network equipment.
Imaging and deployment of system images and software packages using Microsoft SCCM.
Security and patch management including monthly Microsoft updates and security policy adherence.
Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
Manage IT inventory including procurement, deployment, and disposal of hardware.
