Job summary

Exceed Consulting - IT Network Solutions in West Michigan seeks an IT Technician / Engineer Level 2/3 to support clients with AD, Exchange, VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and complex networking.

You will review tickets, plan tasks, liaise with client staff, and occasionally travel to sites. Mentoring junior technicians and developing new solutions are also part of the role in a small team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT engineer/consulting experience.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and RDP.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, Certificates, and migrations.
• Familiarity with virtualization and storage technologies.
• Strong customer-facing and ticketing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage daily tickets; update team, customer, and time entries.
• Plan tasks and schedule resources.
• Liaise with staff at all client levels.
• Travel to customer sites when applicable (infrequent).
• Define hardware, software, and network requirements for quoting.
• Develop and implement new systems; present solutions in reports.
