Job summary

AstroHire, partnering with Clearway Energy Group, seeks a Senior IT Systems Specialist based in Scottsdale, AZ. Reporting to the Manager, Operations IT, you will design, implement, administer, and support operational IT systems, collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Required: a Bachelor’s in IT/CS/Power Systems Eng, 3+ years in power‑systems software and SCADA/EMS/GMS (ABB Ranger, OSI Monarch). This hybrid role offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems development, configuration, implementation and support experience.
• 3+ years of experience with software development technologies.
• 3+ years of experience with power systems-related applications in power generation or distribution.
• 3+ years of experience with SCADA/EMS/GMS systems (e.g., ABB Ranger, Network Manager, OSI Monarch).
• Solid understanding of SDLC and multiple project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation of technical solutions for Business Operations.
• Coordinate to identify, prioritize, and manage Operations IT projects and technology tasks.
• Develop procedures, processes, and applications to provide safe and reliable operations systems meeting regulatory standards.
• Proactively recognize and document business process gaps, propose and implement improvements.
• Provide support for System Operators and Generation Dispatch, and Power Marketing personnel.
• Apply project and development methodologies and follow standards.
• Minimize and manage exposure and risk on project/tasks and production tasks.
• Maintain status reports and meeting minutes, and follow up with partners, vendors, and internal resources.
