Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Sr Staff IT Systems Engineer to own and advance our key corporate IT platforms. You will automate processes, strengthen security posture, and partner with Information Security to align IT operations with strategic goals.

You will work across teams to innovate, implement, and optimize infrastructure, using AI-driven self-service and formal change management to minimize risk and improve service reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering.
• Hands-on admin experience with Google Workspace.
• Scripting for automation using languages like JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with formal change management and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Administratively manage Google Workspace: user lifecycle, groups, Gmail, Drive, Gemini.
• Secure and manage all company email channels (Google Workspace, gateways, transactional email).
• Lead/resolve IT tickets via ServiceNow with timely, effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Information Security, integrating security best practices across systems.
• Promote AI-driven self-service to improve infrastructure efficiency and user empowerment.
• Apply change management procedures and lead incident response during outages.
• Define requirements, build project plans, and drive initiatives with minimal direction.
