BioRender is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to own core IT systems and infrastructure with a focus on scalable, automated, and secure operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement modern IT solutions, prioritizing automation over manual processes and ensuring compliance by default.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, operating in a remote-first environment across Canada and the U.S., with equity and comprehensive benefits as part of total rewards.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating modern IT infrastructure in fast-growing software companies.
• Hands-on expertise in at least two domains: large-scale Mac management, IAM governance, IT automation, or IaC.
• Able to code and follow software engineering standards with Git and peer reviews.

Responsabilités

• Act as technical owner for Client Platform Engineering and macOS fleet management via Kandji.
• Own Identity and Access Management with Okta, SSO, SCIM provisioning and access reviews.
• Design and implement automation for joiner/mover/leaver workflows and provisioning.
• Lead AI enablement initiatives to boost productivity and streamline ops.
• Build and manage infrastructure using IaC with version-controlled systems.
• Collaborate with security and leadership to balance velocity with security.
• Embed automation and tooling in daily engineering workflow to improve reliability.
• Help define engineering standards and operational practices as the IT platform scales.
