Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize complex automations and integrations across its AI-native platform. You will work as a technical peer, shaping patterns, ensuring governance, and reducing manual workloads through scalable solutions.

The role is fully remote within the United States and reports to the Director, IT within IT Innovations. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, translate ambiguous requirements into repeatable

Qualifications

• 7+ years in automation, integration, or IT systems engineering with hands-on delivery of business-critical automations.
• Experience with enterprise system integration using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered and agentic workflows in a governed environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex automations and integrations across core systems.
• Document approaches and provide options with risks and tradeoffs.
• Develop reusable patterns and components for adoption across IT.
• Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response for production automations and agents.
• Lead collaboration with security and compliance to shape new standards.
• Mentor and coach other IT Systems Engineers through design review and pairing.
