Job summary

the company Technologies is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to own the architecture, automation, and reliability of core IT platforms. You will manage identity, device management, endpoint security, and IT automation while serving as the onsite IT presence in San Francisco for executives.

You will lead multi-team initiatives, set technical standards, and collaborate with Security, Engineering, and People teams to design scalable, secure systems and tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, TypeScript, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and communicating tradeoffs to executives.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and conference room/video systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and deploy architecture, reliability, and roadmap for core IT platforms.
• Design and build automation and internal tooling to reduce manual work and enable self-service.
• Lead multi-team initiatives end to end from architecture to rollout and communication.
• Set technical standards and write design docs/runbooks for repeatable success.
• Evaluate tools and vendors, weighing build-vs-buy with cost, risk, and scale.
• Partner with Security to implement controls and serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Mentor IT Support Specialists and manage San Francisco office tech end to end.
• Design and support network connectivity, Wi-Fi, A/V, and coordinate with ISPs and vendors.
• Support executive needs with high reliability during meetings and travel to events.
