Job summary

Mach Industries is seeking a Sr IT Systems Engineer to lead the implementation, automation, and lifecycle management of enterprise IT infrastructure across hybrid platforms. You will drive modernization through infrastructure as code, configuration management, CI/CD integration, system reliability practices, and scalable deployment models across multiple sites.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows and Linux, cloud and on‑prem environments, and a strong focus on security hardening,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Eng, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of systems/infrastructure engineering.
• Experience in enterprise cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Strong automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with IaC and configuration automation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Windows, Linux, virtualization, identity systems, cloud, backups, and operations.
• Security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build reference architectures, deployment blueprints, and rollout models for offices, warehouses, and remote sites.
• Drive automation-first approach with IaC, CI/CD, and automation for provisioning, patching, backups, and access management.
• Improve reliability via standardized recovery procedures and automated workflows.
• Oversee enterprise systems administration and operations for availability and lifecycle management.
• Strengthen security and compliance with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CMMC; advance SSO, MFA, PAM, RBAC, and conditional access.
• Translate business needs into technical execution plans.
