Job summary

Motive Workforce is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for an advanced manufacturing organization based in New Kensington, PA. This hands-on role supports and modernizes enterprise IT across multiple manufacturing sites.

You will own complex technical escalations, lead infrastructure projects, and build secure, scalable systems across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. Lead system migrations, upgrades, new implementations, and modernization projects while supporting Azure, AWS, Microsoft

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years of enterprise IT experience delivering and supporting complex systems.
5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration experience.
Strong Microsoft 365 experience, including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender, and Exchange.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex hardware, software, endpoint, identity, and infrastructure issues.
Lead system migrations, upgrades, new implementations, and modernization projects from design through operational handoff.
Design and support hybrid environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, VMware, and on-premises infrastructure.
Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, identity governance, and least-privilege access controls.
Support Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, and other Microsoft 365 services.
Manage Windows 10 and 11 endpoint environments and Windows Server environments through Server 2022.
Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, virtualization, and hybrid identity.
Design and support firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless access points, and Fortinet equipment.
Support cloud and collaboration migrations, including tenant-to-tenant and post-acquisition integrations.
Implement automation and scripting that improves reliability and reduces manual work.
Create SOPs, knowledge-base articles, and technical documentation.
Mentor IT team members and provide clear technical guidance across the organization.
