Life Care Services-US seeks a Senior IT Systems Specialist to implement, maintain, optimize, and proactively support our business systems in Des Moines, IA. You will monitor system health, resolve root causes, and drive automation and AI-enabled solutions while aligning with security and governance standards.

Reporting to the Director, Financial Systems, you will lead upgrades and integrations, translate business needs into technical solutions, analyze alerts, and guide stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or equivalent experience.
• Six+ years of related experience; business systems experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SQL, scripting, integrations, or automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and integrate LCS business systems to meet complex needs.
• Build, maintain, and monitor system integrations, interfaces, data flows; resolve root causes.
• Serve as SME and advise stakeholders on capabilities and trends.
• Lead upgrades, patches, enhancements, and AI-enabled changes from planning through adoption.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions; identify uses for automation, ML, AI.
• Maintain documentation including configurations, support procedures, and testing evidence.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend secure, scalable solutions.
• Analyze alerts and incidents; implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
