Job summary

LCS, a leading provider in senior care, seeks an experienced IT Systems Specialist in Des Moines to implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise business systems. You will analyze complex processes, partner with stakeholders, and lead improvements with automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will drive testing, training, and project leadership while mentoring teammates and advancing data-driven decision making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/Data Analytics/Business Systems.
• 4-6 years of related experience with business systems.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, dashboards, and SQL.
• Familiarity with automation concepts, AI-enabled tools, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, configure, and improve complex business systems to align with requirements and goals.
• Partner with users and stakeholders to gather needs and design solutions.
• Provide proactive technical support and reduce repeat incidents.
• Design and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Use dashboards and metrics to monitor performance and guide decisions.
• Lead testing activities and oversee user acceptance testing.
• Lead end-user training and drive system adoption.
• Manage moderately complex projects from discovery to implementation and communicate plans.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Document root causes and preventive measures for escalated tickets.
• Mentor less experienced teammates and guide day-to-day work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
