Job summary

Hermeus seeks a Senior IT Support Specialist to be the hands-on anchor for daily IT operations in our Atlanta office. You will resolve complex issues, mentor junior staff, and own the technical layer beneath the service desk, including endpoint management, identity, and security.

Expect automation with PowerShell and collaboration with Cyber, Networking, and People teams. You will report to the IT Service Desk Manager, work two shifts on site, and gain a fixed work-from-home day after 60 days,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT support experience in end-user environments.
• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune at scale, and hybrid Active Directory.
• Proficiency in PowerShell; Python or Bash a plus.
• Strong documentation, root-cause analysis, and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level IT support for daily service desk operations and escalations.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux issues; mentor junior staff.
• Own endpoint management: Intune, Autopilot, image maintenance, patching, and configuration.
• Administer identity and security: Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and Microsoft 365.
• Collaborate with Networking, Cyber, and People teams; automate repetitive tasks.
