Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the IT Endpoint Engineering and Security team. This role develops, maintains, and supports enterprise endpoint infrastructure, platforms, and services across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.

The Senior Systems Engineer will partner with architecture, security, and operations to mature endpoint services through automation and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience as Systems/Infrastructure/Endpoint Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on with enterprise endpoint management platforms (Tanium, SCCM/MECM, Intune, Altiris, BigFix, Ivanti).
• Experience deploying patches, configurations, and remediation across large endpoints/servers.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints and related network connectivity.
• Experience scripting/automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and delivering production services.

Responsibilities

• Design automation workflows for data collection, investigation and incident response.
• Develop threat hunting and data analysis capabilities.
• Propose new technologies and approaches to detect malicious activity and improve endpoint services.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve reliability and scalability.
