Job summary

Welltech is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator to shape and maintain the roadmap for corporate IT infrastructure. The role leads administration for Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Slack, Jira, n8n, and AWS, using automation to reduce manual work and improve security and efficiency.

You will own identity management, device security, application access, and IT support processes, building scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a cloud-first environment.
• Proven experience managing core business platforms, including Google Workspace and Jamf for Apple device management.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
• Ability to translate high-level goals into actionable tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in administering Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence with automation in workflows.
• Solid understanding of IT security, networking fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Hands-on IAM experience, including managing an IdP like Okta.
• Strong scripting and automation in Python/JavaScript; familiarity with n8n or similar tools.
• Experience with office networking (firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS/DHCP) and monitoring (Datadog).
• Excellent communication to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional certifications (Okta, Jamf, AWS, Fortinet) and IaC exposure (Terraform).
• Agile methodologies and DevOps culture familiarity.
• Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
• Experience with FortiGate or Ruckus, or advanced Datadog usage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and strategize the roadmap for corporate IT infrastructure with clear policies and repeatable processes.
• Lead administrator for core SaaS/IaaS platforms; automate user lifecycle management and system integrations.
• Implement and maintain security across systems; manage endpoint security and access policies.
• Provide senior-level IT support, document thoroughly, automate recurring requests, and support the IT service desk.
• Collaborate with Security, HR, Engineering and other departments to deliver technology solutions.
