Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Sr. IT Systems Engineer to own deployment, integration, and evolution of our hybrid IT stack. You will drive automation, IAM maturation, and secure SaaS integrations, partnering with IT Services, Security, HR, Finance, and Engineering to scale operations.

Responsibilities include leading SaaS design and support for Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian, with a focus on SSO, provisioning, and governance. Mentoring and documentation are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years managing a broad SaaS portfolio in a hybrid, high-growth environment.
• 4+ years with iPaaS/automation platforms (n8n, Okta Workflows, Workato, Zapier, etc.).
• Expert knowledge of IAM principles: SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, RBAC/ABAC.
• Strong experience designing and working with APIs for integrations.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform).
• Solid familiarity with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Excellent analytical and incident-resolution skills in fast-paced settings.
• Okta certifications preferred; Google Workspace cert a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, administration, and optimization of core SaaS platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian).
• Own end-to-end support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for apps and interconnections.
• Advance workforce IAM program including SSO, lifecycle provisioning, access governance, and policy enforcement.
• Provide strategic technical guidance to support business expansion, scalability, and maturity.
• Create and maintain IT docs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Identify gaps/risks and lead security/automation initiatives to improve resilience.
• Evaluate IAM trends and lead proofs-of-concept or adoption.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across IT/Engineering teams.
