The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced IT Professional to join the IT Team in a cross-site role managing two computer networks, servers, VMware environments, and Red Hat Linux systems. The role emphasizes cybersecurity governance, end-user support, and leading IT projects for the NR Electrical Community.

Qualified candidates include those with a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, and a strong background

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in related IT fields and cross-site networks.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage network infrastructure.
• Perform hardware upgrades following an obsolescence management plan.
• Follow NR cybersecurity policies and author CSCRs as necessary.
• Lead IT projects that will benefit the NR Electrical Community.
