Job summary
Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an IT Professional to join the Information Technology team within the Shipboard Electrical Systems Department. The role involves administering two key networks, configuring infrastructure, and delivering advanced technical support while learning new technologies.
Required: a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or a master's with 2+ years, plus Cisco, Microsoft Server, and RHEL experience. Travel between Pennsylvania and New York is possible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Configure and manage network infrastructure.
- Perform hardware upgrades following an obsolescence management plan.
- Provide advanced level technical support.
- Follow NR cybersecurity polices and author CSCRs as necessary.
- Work on IT projects that will benefit the NR Electrical Community.
