Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an IT Professional to join the Information Technology team and support two critical networks. You will configure network infrastructure, perform upgrades, and provide advanced technical support while following cybersecurity policies.

Required: a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience or a Master's with 2+ years. Occasional travel between Pennsylvania and New York is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant IT experience, or Master's with 2+ years.
• Experience with Cisco network administration, Windows server environments, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• End-user support experience and ability to travel between PA and NY.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage network infrastructure across two core networks.
• Perform hardware upgrades per obsolescence management plan.
• Provide advanced level technical support and cybersecurity policy adherence.
• Collaborate on IT projects benefiting NR Electrical Community.
