Job summary

RTX is seeking a System Administrator in Goleta, CA to maintain a Linux infrastructure for classified programs. You will provision, install, configure, operate and maintain systems hardware and software for a secure environment.

The role requires a secret clearance, DoD 8140/8570 certification within 6 months, US citizenship, and hands-on Windows/Linux administration, AD, DNS/DHCP, and backup management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of Linux-based systems for classified programs.
• Server and storage management; cross-platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration.
• Workstation support and system troubleshooting for a Linux environment.
• Must be able to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months.
