Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. in Frederick, MD, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot in-house desktops, laptops, and peripherals in a fast-paced environment. You will diagnose issues, install hardware and software, manage assets, and provide user training, working on-site five days a week in Frederick.

Qualifications

Associate degree in IT, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in troubleshooting and IT support for desktops, hardware, and peripherals.
US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals with upgrades.
Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and emails regarding PC hardware problems.
Evaluate, prioritize and respond to service requests with a resolution.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation software/hardware.
Develop and maintain an inventory of IT assets including history of hardware failures.
Work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service level.
