Job summary

North-Texas-Area-Community-Health-Centers-Inc in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to deliver advanced technical support, install and maintain computing equipment, and manage user accounts and security across our organization.

You will monitor servers and networks, perform backups and audits, mentor Tier I/II staff, and travel between DFW-area offices. A 2-year or 4-year IT degree and 5+ years of IT experience are required; CompTIA Security+ or Network+ is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience with Windows, Mac, Linux, and Hyper‑V environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, servers, and hardware/software configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Reliable transportation for travel between office locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, software, printers, and other technology.
• Manage user accounts, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and system access.
• Monitor and maintain servers, networks, LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, and storage systems.
• Perform routine system backups, security checks, and IT audits.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity, workstation, and server issues.
• Maintain IT inventory and help implement technology improvements.
• Develop IT processes, policies, and procedures.
• Mentor and train Tier I and Tier II IT support staff.
• Travel between DFW-area offices to provide onsite technical support.
