Moffatt & Nichol, a Raleigh-based leader in waterfront infrastructure, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our IT Group. The role provides advanced computer support to employees across locations, handling software, hardware, and mobile devices via email, tickets, and phone, and may train junior staff.

You will maintain imaging servers, update documentation, assist onboarding/offboarding, and collaborate with the Network Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or related IT certs preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of professional technical support experience.
• Strong IT concepts and independent work ability.
• Positive attitude and teamwork; excellent customer service.
• Background check per NIST 800-171; E-Verify compliance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to end users' requests for computer support via tickets, phone, and email.
• Provide advanced support for complex issues and mentor junior staff.
• Maintain WDS imaging server and IT documentation.
• Manage inventory and Active Directory accounts; assist onboarding/offboarding.
• Support network operations tasks with approvals.
