Job summary

Mission Support and Test Services is seeking an IT Support Specialist III for the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) in North Las Vegas. You will resolve complex technical issues and optimize IT operations to support critical national security missions.

The role covers Active Directory, Office 365, SCCM, VMware, Azure, and Intune administration, with a focus on secure, reliable user experiences. On-site work at the NNSS Losee Road Facility; 4/10s schedule; DOE security compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of progressive experience.
• Tier III technical support expertise.
• End-to-end troubleshooting across systems, networks, and applications.
• Experience with AD, SCCM, VMware, Office 365, Linux, Azure, Intune, GPO, scripting, automation, SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve advanced user-facing hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage tickets via ticketing system; support via call, chat, and in person interactions.
• Analyze recurring problems and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead installation, configuration, and upgrading of hardware, OS, and applications.
• Administer Office 365 services and Azure AD.
• Maintain Active Directory groups and GPOs.
• Develop IT processes and documentation to improve efficiency.
• Provide user training and mentorship.
• Monitor IT plans and report issues to management.
