Job summary

Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to join our Service Desk at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). The role delivers end-user desktop and service desk support, including AD/Windows and MS Office, within a 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu) at NNSS.

Applicants must meet DOE requirements, including pre-employment drug tests, a background check, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• Windows OS, Active Directory, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook skills.
• Experience installing hardware and software for personal computing needs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional interaction with all levels of personnel; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Primary work location at NNSS; 4/10 schedule Mon–Thu; possible overtime.
• Pre-placement physical, including a drug screen; MSTS drug policy applies.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• End-user desktop and service desk support.
• Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Support AD, Windows 7/10, Mac OS, MS Office, and Outlook as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
