Element U.S. Space & Defense is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary escalation point for end-user and infrastructure support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive hands-on IT support experience in a corporate, multi-user environment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, enterprise productivity applications, and Active Directory environments.
• On-site role with up to 25% travel.
• Strong customer service, mentoring, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, network, system, and application-related issues for internal and external customers.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
• Manage and prioritize support requests to ensure timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior IT staff.
