Job summary

The Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East is seeking an IT Technical Support Analyst to serve as the End User/Network Support Analyst for the Authority and partner agencies. The role requires resolving hardware/software problems, maintaining LAN/WAN operations, and enforcing SLAs while deploying security strategies across systems and data.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• Experience substituting education with additional IT work experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support end users and maintain LAN/WAN day-to-day operations.
• Respond to client queries and resolve hardware/software problems.
• Install and configure surveillance components and network equipment.
• Assist with routers, firewalls, switches, VPN devices, DNS & DHCP.
• Maintain system security and monitor for intrusions or data loss.
• Collaborate with users, administrators, vendors, and supervisors on IT issues.
