Job summary

Orcrist Technologies seeks an experienced IT Support Engineer to own and operate internal IT systems, providing hands-on support for macOS and Linux, and driving automation and onboarding for new joiners.

You will manage IAM, scripting, and project work while maintaining clear documentation and strong communication with non-technical colleagues across a remote-first Germany-wide setup.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in IT support or internal IT at an advanced level.
• Owned a system or topic end to end and kept it running.
• Confident with macOS and Linux support, the command line and basic scripting (e.g. Bash or Python).
• Practical knowledge of Identity & Access Management (SSO, MFA, directory services, roles and permissions).
• Experience running projects independently alongside day-to-day support.
• Interested in AI agents and automation, and willing to use them in your own work.
• Clear communication with non-technical colleagues and a service mindset.
• Documentation is a habit, not an afterthought.
• English at C1 or above, German at B1 or above.

Responsibilities

• Work on IT support tickets across macOS and Linux.
• Own systems and projects end to end including rollout.
• Manage Identity & Access Management (SSO, MFA, directory services).
• Automate user journeys: onboarding, provisioning, offboarding.
• Run IT onboarding calls for new joiners.
• Document processes, systems and tooling for easy reuse.
• Collaborate with colleagues and translate tech into business impact.
