Job summary

Pittsburgh Glass Works, LLC. is seeking a Sr. IT Support Analyst to deliver daily technical support for a range of hardware and software systems across multiple Vitro locations.

You will partner with centralized IT teams to deploy new solutions and maintain existing standards, providing crucial support to internal users and ensuring secure, reliable IT operations. The role requires a 2-year degree and at least 5 years of technical support experience, with preference for those familiar with

Qualifications

• A 2-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years technical support experience in a computer-related area.
• Supporting a Manufacturing or Research team preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to document operations procedures.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle internal users effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of PC/Laptop hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Networking and Voice Services (e.g. Cabling, Routers, Switches, PBX, Wireless).
• Printer hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Thin Client technologies.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Work daylight hours with 24x7 on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for a range of hardware and software systems.
• Coordinate problem solving with Corporate IT Infrastructure and Applications teams.
• Ensure IT systems and data security and proper local data backups.
• Maintain computer workstations and assist users to resolve IT issues.
• Track incidents and requests in the ticketing system.
• Provide remote PC support for traveling users.
• Assist in developing local IT budget and ensure Corporate standards are followed.
