Job summary

The National Audubon Society is hiring a Senior IT Specialist to ensure seamless operation of diverse technology environments. The role focuses on implementing new services, developing IT processes, and delivering advanced technical support across platforms, with emphasis on M365.

You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams and serving as a primary IT contact for departments and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7+ years of progressive Tier 2+ support experience.
• Ability to lead large IT projects with stakeholders, development, and implementation.
• Mentor junior IT staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Strong M365 expertise including Intune, Entra, and Teams.
• Experience procuring/managing external vendors and tech partners.
• Proven Windows and MacOS support; iOS is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other SaaS apps.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from conception to implementation.
• Provide Tier 2 support with access to executive staff files as needed.
• Develop and implement new services within the SaaS environment.
• Deliver high-quality support for Windows, MacOS, and other IT devices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in software, hardware, and cloud services.
• Create trainings and document support interactions for knowledge sharing.
