Job summary

Hitachi Solutions North America seeks an accomplished IT consultant to lead enterprise M365 projects, aligning business needs with technology and guiding clients through architecture, migration plans, and executive presentations.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, cross-team leadership, and collaboration with client IT and business executives. Occasional travel and strong M365/Azure capabilities are expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer-facing IT consulting in M365.
• 2+ years of Azure experience.
• Experience creating client-facing deliverables: architectures, project docs, root cause analyses.
• Experience migrating enterprise-scale clients to Microsoft 365.
• Secure, enterprise-scale Azure environments aligned to Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Deep M365 expertise: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business.
• Hands-on Entra ID (Azure AD) with MFA, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity.
• Experience with Defender Suite, Cloud App Security, Information Protection.
• Understanding governance and compliance tools like Purview/Priva/DLP.
• Occasional travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead M365 consulting projects with client stakeholders to align business needs to technology.
• Participate in pre-sales for M365 projects; gather requirements, present to clients, and estimate.
• Create solution architectures, migration plans, and executive presentations on M365 Modern Workplace.
• Perform hands-on implementation work within consulting projects.
• Provide project leadership to team members for overall success and delivery.
• Interface with client IT, business, and executive teams for guidance and support.
• Lead architecture reviews, governance boards, and design discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Occasional escalation support for managed services or other project teams.
