Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina seeks a Senior IT Category Manager to lead sourcing and vendor governance for IT hardware, software, and services. You will drive TCO reductions, develop bid documents, and negotiate vendor contracts in partnership with Corporate Services Vendor Contracting.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, forecast market dynamics, and manage supplier relationships to achieve business outcomes across IT categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree as required.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field; 7+ years if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Establish sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and services.
• Conduct sourcing events and develop category strategy and evaluation criteria.
• Develop bid documents (RFP/RFI/RFQ) and manage reporting and metrics.
• Forecast market dynamics and provide industry knowledge to stakeholders.
• Source products using proven tools to drive business results.
• Evaluate analyses from a total cost of ownership perspective and optimize.
