Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a SR IT Site Support Specialist to install, configure, support, and maintain Microsoft Windows server/desktop infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, upgrades, and user assistance across the organization.

The role requires strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows 10, Active Directory, Office 365, and VPN access for remote users. Overtime and on-call coverage may be required; candidate should reside within about an hour of the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years providing technical IT support.
• Minimum 2 years supporting Microsoft PC environment.
• Experience supporting remote users utilizing VPN connectivity.
• A+ certification, MCP and Windows 10 certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, printers, and peripherals in a mixed Windows environment.
• Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to end users by communicating progress in resolution of issues.
• Configure wireless devices for connectivity to corporate email.
• Imaging, configuration, and placement of new PCs as directed by the ticketing system.
• Maintain and update support information such as PC queue, inventory, and assets.
• Maintain phone systems and assist in daily IT operations.
• Deliver end-user training on basic and specialized applications.
