Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Business Relationship Manager to advance our IT security services strategy, build strong client relationships, advise on decisions, resolve escalations, and align client needs with solutions.

The BRM will maintain deep knowledge of products, lead meetings, coordinate with Virginia agencies, and contribute to strategic planning for program growth. Travel is 25-35% with hybrid/remote options in the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in customer success, supply chain or vendor relations in IT.
• Experience as a relationship manager or in a similar role.
• Ability to build and maintain client and business relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of Information Security/Cyber security services.
• State and Local government experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a deep knowledge of company products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers in the VITA MSI program.
• Identify clients' needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Provide clients with consultations and guide decision-making.
• Bridge gaps between GDIT and Virginia Agencies to improve efficiency and trust.
• Resolve agency and supplier complaints, issues and escalations promptly.
• Ensure client satisfaction.
• Contribute to strategic planning for program growth and security services.
• Lead meetings and present to multiple participants in person or virtually.
