Citi in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java. The candidate should have 6–9 years in QA with a strong automation focus, solid programming skills in Java (or Python/C#), and experience with TestNG/JUnit or similar frameworks.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java.
• Design, write, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues not covered by formal test cases.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD) to ensure efficient and organized testing.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to support agile development practices.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity and integration testing, leveraging automation where appropriate.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate backend services.
• Perform database validation by writing and executing SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on test progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
• Continuously research and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
• Contribute to the improvement of overall software quality processes and practices within the team.
