Job summary

Citi is seeking an IT Quality Senior Analyst to join our Technology Quality team in Irving, TX. This role blends test automation design with hands-on execution across UI, API, and database validations in a hybrid environment.

You will build robust automation frameworks, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. A strong background in Selenium with Java, QA practices, and collaboration with agile teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficient in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, NUnit, or similar.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Design, write, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects.

• Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts.
• Provide clear progress reports to stakeholders.
• Continuously research new testing tools and methods.
