Job summary

The State of Minnesota is seeking an IT Advanced Project Manager for MNIT/DCYF in St. Paul. You will lead complex technology projects across business and technical teams, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and vendor coordination, and ensure alignment with agency priorities and PM standards.

Onsite 50% with some telework based on residence. The role requires at least four years of IT project management experience, knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches, and strong communication

Qualifications

Four or more years of IT project management experience.
Experience managing projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
Experience applying Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
Leading cross-functional teams with stakeholders and vendors.
Developing and maintaining PM documentation and risk logs.
Clear and effective communication for mutual understanding.
Customer-focused approach delivering positive user experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional project teams and oversee all phases of the project lifecycle.
Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and deliverables.
Coordinate activity with business, technical stakeholders and vendors.
Communicate project status and support successful IT solution delivery.
