Job summary

Briljent is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of complex information systems across the full SDLC, including Medicaid-related platforms. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and Briljent teams, manage budgets >$500k, and ensure high-quality go-lives using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methods.

Requires 7+ years IT project management, PMP, and strong communication to translate technical concepts for executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or program/project management, or equivalent work experience.
• PMP Certification required.
• Agile certification preferred (PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Lead initiation, planning, execution, and closing of IT projects across the full SDLC.
• Serve as primary liaison between client, vendors, stakeholders, and Briljent; report progress.
• Define scope, deliverables, tasks, resources, schedule baselines, and costs.
• Monitor budget and hours; forecast utilization and revenue; review invoices.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid delivery methods per client needs.
• Facilitate requirements sessions; maintain RTM; translate business needs to technical designs.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; manage interfaces, integrations, and dependencies.
• Ensure quality of all deliverables including testing and go/no-go readiness.
• Coordinate with vendors and client IT; define statements of work for subcontractors.
• Support CMS certification, APDs, and IV&V reviews when applicable.
• Collaborate with change management and training teams for go-live readiness.
