Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks an IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT initiatives, including application development, data integration, and AI-enabled solutions.

You will partner with stakeholders to define scope and success criteria, and collaborate with analysts, architects, and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable deliverables, managing risks and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience supporting application development and data integration initiatives.
• Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage mid sized to large IT projects.
• Proven experience delivering projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with PM tools such as MS Project, Planview, and SharePoint.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technology deliverables.
• Broad understanding of enterprise IT systems and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution across all project phases to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and govern project documentation, including charters, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and communication plans.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and technical teams to translate business needs into functional and technical deliverables.
• Secure and coordinate project resources and funding in collaboration with leadership and functional managers.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status reporting to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Communicate project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans to leadership and executives.
• Ensure project deliverables comply with governance, audit, and internal control requirements.
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies and resolve conflicts proactively.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, including AI trends, and assess applicability to project delivery.
• Perform additional project-related duties as required.
