Job summary

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple IT initiatives. You will coordinate scope, schedule, cost and quality across teams, develop plans and reports for IT leadership, and drive improvements in PMO processes.

Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors is key to successful project delivery. The role requires strong communication, attention to deadlines, and the ability to manage both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management skills across IT initiatives.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Detail oriented with deadlines and priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with MS Planner and Project for the Web.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Simultaneously manage multiple IT projects with focus on scope, schedule, quality and cost.
• Develop requirements, work plans, tasks, and reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and conduct project team meetings; track issues and risks.
• Report deviations and approve mitigation plans; drive PMO process improvements.
• Support onboarding of new staff and apply lessons learned across projects.
• Manage both Agile and Waterfall projects per PMO documentation.
• Collaborate with external vendors and respond to incidents and reporting needs.
