Job summary

The NCAA IT Planning & Governance team seeks two Project Management professionals to lead initiatives across planning, execution, delivery, and adoption using Waterfall, Agile Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid approaches.

Senior level candidates may have Scrum Master responsibilities, facilitating ceremonies and supporting portfolio planning. Expect 2-4 years in PM/BA roles, PMP/SM/PO certs, and a mostly hybrid schedule from Indianapolis with <10% travel.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in IT project management, business analysis, or related technology delivery roles; minimum of 5 years preferred.
• Experience managing technology projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• PMO governance, risk, and stakeholder management experience.
• PMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or related certification required.
• Travel estimated at <10%, hybrid work from Indianapolis national office.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Utilize Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid methods based on project needs.
• Provide transparent project reporting to leadership, sponsors, stakeholders, and teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and decisions; manage dependencies.
• Facilitate communication among IT, business partners, vendors, and contractors.
• Support resource planning, forecasting, and organizational change management.
