Job summary

LingaTech is seeking a senior IT Project Manager with EHR, health informatics, and health IT expertise to lead a large-scale clinical system implementation. You will drive the full lifecycle from planning to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.

This role requires strong governance, organizational change management, and collaboration across application, data, security, and operations teams to support complex technical initiatives.

Qualifications

• Lead the implementation of a new EHR system from planning through governance.
• Manage all project activities for EHR implementation including planning, execution, and governance.
• Accountable for delivery of tasks in the Project Management Plan and Schedule.
• Active PMP Certification from PMI for at least 5 years.
• Manage technical initiatives with cross-functional IT teams and vendor involvement (7 years).

Responsibilities

• Direct, administer, manage, and facilitate enhancements and high-priority tech projects.
• Manage priorities for the full lifecycle including planning, design, programming, testing, implementation.
• Develop PM plans, schedules, and resource estimates; track progress, budgets, milestones.
• Collaborate with application, data warehouse, informatics, networking, security, and service management teams to support system implementation.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues using a RAID log; develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications; create communication plans and status reports to leadership.
• Ensure project compliance with PMO standards, procedures, and formal change management protocols.
• Coordinate system testing, conduct training sessions, and mentor junior staff.

This role requires robust experience with organizational change management and steering complex technical initiatives across diverse multidisciplinary teams.

Active Job Duties

• Direct, administer, manage, and facilitate enhancements, business process re-engineering, and high-priority strategic technology projects.

• Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for the complete project lifecycle, including planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation.

• Develop detailed project management plans, schedules, and resource estimates while tracking progress, budgets, and milestones.

• Collaborate closely with application, data warehouse, informatics, networking, security, and service management teams to support system implementation.

• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues using a structured RAID log, developing and executing proactive risk mitigation strategies.

• Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, create communication plans and deliverables matrices, and report status updates to senior leadership.

• Ensure project compliance with PMO standards, procedures, and formal change management protocols.

• Coordinate system testing, conduct training sessions, and mentor less experienced project management staff as needed.

Job Requirements Required Qualifications

• Manage the implementation of a new EHR system, and transition from system implementation to program operations and maintenance

• Lead, plan, execute, and monitor all project activities for EHR implementation including project planning and execution, and governance

• Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the Project Management Plan and Project Schedule

• 'Active' PMP Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) for at least 5 Years

• Manage technical initiatives with a complement of project team members throughout the various IT areas, technical complexity, and vendor involvement (7 Years)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity and experience with programs and issues related to public health

• Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers
