Job summary

AAR Corp is seeking a Senior Project Manager- IT to lead multiple software development projects within the Digital Technology and Analytics group. You will coordinate Agile and Waterfall approaches, mentor 2–3 project managers, and drive delivery with Product Owner collaboration across time zones.

The role requires strong leadership, executive communication, and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence. Based at Wood Dale HQ with planned relocation to Chicago in 2027.

Qualifications

10 years of project management experience with complex software projects.
Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Bachelor's degree required; PMP certification a plus.
Proven ability to analyze progress and present executive level outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple software development projects and Scrum ceremonies.
Mentor 2–3 project managers and coordinate teams across time zones.
Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize backlog and scope.
Provide leadership updates on measures, risks, and roadblocks.
