Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corp. seeks a Senior IT Project Manager / AVP to lead IT projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with business plans and ePMO governance. You will define scope, milestones, and deliverables, and coordinate across IT, IS, and vendor teams.

The role requires 5-10 years of related experience, strong budgeting and stakeholder management, and preferred PMP/PMI-ACP certifications. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, with a focus on delivering complex technology programs.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related experience
• Financial Services or Financial systems at mid-to-large organizations experience, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Resolve non-routine problems
• Exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices
• Require minimum supervision
• Track project actuals vs. budget.
• Validate receipt of goods/services before authorizing invoice payments.
• Prepare project budget submission and change requests, as needed
• Accountable for project with broad scope
• PMP certification, PgMP, PMI-ACP or PMI Agile certifications preferred; CSM/PSM II/III preferred
• Experience with Clarity or similar PM tools
• Good technology knowledge and experience leading technology projects/programs

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing of projects.
• Acts as primary point of contact for stakeholders across IT, IS and vendors.
• Maintains project plans, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
• Provides technology artifacts for ePMO governance and PP M tools.
• Manages budgets, financials and project communications.
• Handles moderate to high complexity projects across programs.
