Washington State Department of Ecology is seeking an Enterprise Portfolio Manager (IT PM – Senior/Specialist) to lead the IT Portfolio Management (ITPM) program within ITSO. The role oversees a large, multi-portfolio environment, aligning technology initiatives with agency goals while coordinating with executive leadership and external partners.

Formación

• Eight years of experience and/or education related to IT portfolio leadership and governance.
• Experience leading IT professionals or consulting as a technical lead.
• Ability to align IT initiatives with agency goals and mission.

Responsabilidades

• Guide the enterprise-wide IT Portfolio Management program, ensuring governance and alignment with agency goals.
• Coordinate the enterprise IT portfolio across multiple program portfolios and ITSO.
• Maintain portfolio management standards, processes, templates, and tools for intake, review, prioritization, and capacity planning.
• Provide senior guidance to executive leadership and project teams for a strategic portfolio roadmap.
• Act as legislative partner for ITSO, coordinating bill review and compliance.
• Mentor IT professionals on portfolio management practices and process improvements.
• Administer annual technology certification requirements and assist with accommodation requests.
• Serve as Technical Change Manager, assessing impacts of changes and identifying documentation needs.
