Job summary

Mississippi Division of Medicaid (DOM) is seeking an IT Operations and Infrastructure Director to provide executive leadership and daily operational oversight for enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, and service delivery. The role oversees seven IT domains, ensures HIPAA/CMS compliance, and drives modernization initiatives across the DOM environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing enterprise IT operations and infrastructure.
• Leadership experience supervising technical teams and managers.
• Proven AWS cloud experience including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
• Strong LAN/WAN, DNS, load balancers, and wireless networks knowledge.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT infrastructure operations ensuring high availability.
• Triage, assign, and track service tickets for cloud, hosting, and network services.
• Oversee vendor relationships and contract renewals.
• Develop SOPs and governance for ITIM domains.
• Prepare weekly status reports to IT leadership.
