Job summary

Peraton is recruiting an IT Director to lead technology operations and modernization for Health and Human Services, CMS, and CCIIO initiatives. You will guide infrastructure, applications, data management, and security to support eligibility processing, enrollment, and case management for government customers.

You will manage cross-functional teams, ensure high availability, and drive strategic roadmaps while maintaining compliance with federal/privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT leadership in government or large programs.
• Direct experience supporting health eligibility systems and CMS programs.
• Strong cloud, DevOps, and enterprise architecture knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and security/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for IT services supporting Eligibility Support operations, including infrastructure, applications, data management, and security.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across development, operations, service delivery, and technical support.
• Oversee system performance, uptime, and service levels in high-volume eligibility environments.
• Serve as primary liaison with customer IT, state agencies, vendors, and Peraton leadership.
• Direct modernization initiatives including cloud migration, platform upgrades, automation, and digital transformation.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and agency security requirements.
• Manage IT budget, resources, vendor relationships, and technology procurement.
• Establish roadmaps, architecture standards, and operational best practices.
• Oversee change management, release planning, and configuration controls.
• Drive continuous improvement and incident response across systems and support centers.
