Job summary

Assured is building a modern, AI-native IT function to support a fully remote, distributed workforce. As Senior IT Support Engineer, you will own day-to-day IT operations, onboarding/offboarding, identity management, and device management for a Mac-first fleet, with a strong focus on automation and security.

You’ll work with Rippling, SSO/MFA, and AI ITSM platforms, helping scale from 200 to 300+ employees while upholding SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 controls.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of IT support/IT engineering experience in remote/SaaS environments.
• Proven experience supporting a fully remote workforce.
• Deep hands-on experience with modern IDP and MDM platforms; Rippling preferred; Okta a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, SAML, SCIM, OAuth & MFA across SaaS environments.
• Advanced macOS administration; solid Windows and mobile troubleshooting; some scripting.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace administration, Slack, and common SaaS consoles (Zoom, 1Password, Notion).
• AI-forward mindset; familiarity with AI ITSM platforms like Console.com/ARIA, Risotto or Unthread is a plus.
• Experience in SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001 frameworks; access reviews and audit support.
• Automation-first mindset; prefer building workflows over repeating tasks.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
• Familiarity with asset management (Snipe-IT) and Slack-based ticket intake.

Responsibilities

• User Support & IT Operations for a fully remote, distributed workforce via Slack, Zoom, and screen sharing.
• Own onboarding and offboarding: provisioning, group membership, device enrollment.
• Administer identity stack (Rippling; SCIM, MDM); configure SSO/MFA; Okta experience a plus.
• Manage Mac-first fleet via Rippling MDM; maintain asset inventory in Snipe-IT.
• Contribute to an AI-forward IT stack; extend automation and AI-driven IT workflows.
• Support security/compliance programs (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and audits.
• Write and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge content in Notion.
• Contribute to IT roadmap: tooling evaluations, integrations, automations; mentor teammates.
